Having proper storage space in your foodservice operation is essential to running an organized kitchen. At Central, we understand that importance, which is why we are proud to offer our Central Exclusive and Value Series lines of commercial shelving. These lines provide a tough and durable solution to your storage needs without breaking the bank. Let’s take a deeper look at each series of shelving that is available.
Central Exclusive Heavy-Duty Shelving
Central Exclusive shelving is durable enough to support heavy loads, such as bulk ingredients and equipment, and withstand busy, abrasive environments. These high performance, high capacity wire shelves are easy to assemble and adjust to fit your storage requirements.
This design means fewer shelves, lower shelving costs, and less post obstruction. Backed by a 13-year warranty, this is an investment that will pay off for years before the time comes to replace.

Central Exclusive comes in your choice of Blue Epoxy or Chrome shelving. What is the difference between epoxy and chrome? Epoxy shelving is best for moist, humid areas, as the epoxy coating prevents rusting of the wireframe. Chrome shelving is ideal for dry areas. Select the finish that fits best with your working environment.
Value Series Medium–Duty Shelving
Value Series medium-duty shelving offers the most options of our Central’s family of shelves. Whether storing for back- or front-of-the-house, Value Series Medium Duty Shelving has the solution to best meet your needs.
All Value Series medium-duty shelving is NSF approved for commercial foodservice usage. Shelving is adjustable in 1-inch increments, and each post is numbered every 2 inches to ensure quick and easy assembly. Each shelf up to 48” wide is rated to support 800 lbs. of uniformly distributed weight. Shelves longer than 48” wide support 600 lbs. Optional 5” diameter casters are available here.
Green Epoxy Shelving
Much like the blue epoxy Central Exclusive shelves, Value Series green epoxy shelves are ideal for harsh, wet, and humid environments. The epoxy covers zinc underplated commercial steel wire shelves, providing the durability and toughness needed in a foodservice storage capacity. A 12-year warranty covers green epoxy shelving against rust or corrosion. Stationary kits are available in four and five shelf units and include four 74” high posts, and split sleeves.
Black Epoxy Shelving
Black epoxy provides a sleek look perfect for front-of-the-house or showroom display. These shelves are best for dry storage applications. A one year warranty covers black epoxy shelves against rust or corrosion.
The ideal solution for back-of-the-house dry storage needs, Value Series chrome shelving is a simple steel wire design with an ultra-clear coat finish. Stationary shelving kits are available in four and five shelf units and include four 74” high posts, and split sleeves.
A one year warranty against corrosion and rust covers these chrome finish shelves.
Polymer shelving provides a unique design that is durable and easy-to-clean. Each polymer shelf consists of a wire frame and a polymer shelf mat that can quickly be taken off the structure to be washed by hand or in a dishwasher. These shelf mats are corrosion– and impact–resistant, and will not rust, chip or corrode. Rated to be used continuously within a temperature range of -20 degrees and 120 degrees Fahrenheit, these polymer shelves are the ultimate solution for any environment.
Polymer shelves come in two varieties: vented and solid. Vented shelves provide more air circulation and help reduce dust accumulation. Solid shelves are best for containing spills. Best of all, polymer shelf panels have a lifetime warranty against rust and corrosion, and the green epoxy shelf trusses and posts are covered for 12 years against rust and corrosion.
Value Series Light Duty Shelving
If your storage needs aren’t as intensive, then light duty shelving is a much more affordable and reasonable option. Value Series light duty shelving is a no-frills choice that holds up to 600 lbs. per shelf. Finishes available include Green Epoxy (wet, humid environments) and Chrome (dry environments). Stationery kits are available in four shelf units and include four 72” high grooved posts.
Green epoxy shelves and posts are backed by a five year limited warranty and chrome shelves and posts are covered by a one year limited warranty against rust or corrosion. Optional 5” diameter casters are available with brakes or without brakes.
