The Hydro-Safe QT Brew Max filtration system, QTBRWMAX-1S-1M, is a one-stage filtration system that improves efficiency while reducing service calls and downtime associated with scale buildup and corrosion damage in commercial brewing machines. This system also reduces lead. The unit consists of two 3/8 inch NPT lead free brass ball valves, flush kit for easy installation and maintenance, and a high strength polypropylene filter housing mounted on a powder coated steel bracket. The system utilizes a high capacity one micron carbon block filter for reducing sand, silt, sediment, rust, and chlorine taste and odor. This carbon block filter is impregnated with a lead sorbent material to reduce lead in the makeup water. The filter cartridge also contains long life phosphate media to prevent scaling and corrosion of downstream equipment. The Hydro-Safe QT filter cartridge makes servicing this system quick and easy.
