    • Using a 1/2 lb. food waste per person/meal as a guide, the Hobart FD4-75 disposer is best suited to a scullery area for 200 to 2,000 meals per day, to a salad/vegetable prep area for 200-300 meals per day, or to a cafeteria, commissary or school's soiled dish table area for 200 to 300 meals per day. If the waste will include a large percentage of bones or other hard materials, or if the unit is for a restaurant, hotel or hospital, you may need a larger model or additional units.
