The CDN DTQ-450X is a digital ProAccurate Quick Tip cooking thermometer designed to check the temperature of for cooked items easily and quickly in commercial kitchens. The thermometer is ideal for measuring temperature in thin cuts of fish, meat, and poultry in order to ensure even cooking. It comes with a 5" stainless steel stem for superior corrosion resistance and easy cleanup. The digital display housing is made from stainless steel for durability.This cooking thermometer has a Quick Tip sensor at the thermometer tip for accurate reading within 6 to 8 seconds. Operators need to insert 1/4" of the tip inside the product to check its temperature. The one-button feature recalibration takes only two seconds to recalibrate the thermometer. Its waterproof design ensures that the unit can be used to submerse the unit for 30 minutes at a depth of 1 meter. This makes it usable even any type of environment.The CDN thermometer has a large LCD display for easy read out of temperature readings. Data is locked on the display to allow reading for longer durations. The unit has a protective sheath that can also be used as handle extension. A simple temperature guide is provided on the sheath for easy access. Auto-off features shuts down the unit after 10 minutes of inactivity to preserve battery life. The unit can measure temperature from -40F to +450F with +/- 0.5 accuracy. Operators can select from Celsius and Fahrenheit units for temperature reading.
