Professional ice sculptors use blocks of ice that have been processed to make them crystal clear, but ice sculpture molds filled with regular tap water will actually be bright white.
Follow these simple instructions:
1. Fill the mold with water.
2. Freeze for 48 to 72 hours.
3. Carefully cut the mold away from the ice starting at the base.
4. The sculpture lasts four to five hours at room temperature and can last up to seven hours in cooler temperatures.
