THE
BEST WAY TO CLEAN KITCHEN COUNTERS
Bleach and commercial kitchen cleaning agents are the best sanitizers-provided
they're diluted according to product directions. They're the most effective
at getting rid of bacteria. Hot water and soap does a good job, too, but
may not kill all strains of bacteria.

INSTALLING
YOUR GREASE INTERCEPTOR
Your grease interceptor should be installed as near the fixture(s) it is
servicing as possible. This helps prevent grease from accumulating in the
piping between the fixture and the interceptor. Also, a grease interceptor
may be installed outside but must be below the frost line. |
| |
WHAT
SIZE GREASE INTERCEPTOR DO YOU NEED?
Per Plumbing and Drainage Institute and Uniform Plumbing Code requirements:
1. Size all the fixtures (sinks, etc.) that will be served by the interceptor
using the following formula:
Length x Width x Depth=Total Cubic Inches
2. Divide the total cubic inches by 231 to calculate the gallon capacity
3. To take into account the pots, pans, dishes, etc. that will be in the
sink(s), use 75% of the gallon capacity for sizing purposes. (This figure
is based on a one minute drain down time. If a two minute drain down time
is acceptable, divide gallon/minute total by 2.)
4. Example: if one 15" long, 24" wide and 10" deep sink will
be served by the interceptor:
a) 15"x24"x10"=3600 cubic inches
b) 3600 cubic inches ÷ 231=15.6 gallon capacity
c) 15.6 gallon capacity x 0.75=11.7 gallons/minute
d) #829-011 (see page 104 of the 2002 catalog) with a 15 gallons per minute
rating would be the correct size |

3. Wring out and rinse.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 five to ten times. |

MAINTENANCE
GUIDELINES FOR YOUR LOOPED END WET MOP

HOW
MANY HAND DRYERS DO YOU NEED?
For normal traffic, you need one dryer for every two sinks.
For heavier traffic, you need a dryer for each sink. |
